The truth is a lie agreed upon society. I suppose you can say that we are all mediocrities thrust into prominence. There are precious few at ease with moral ambiguities so we act as though they don’t exist. It’s the only way that man can survive in this world physically and emotionally. That has contemporary reverberations, I think. That just proves to be the philosophical core to the world in general. After all, that is all our lives are made up of. In the end, that is what real life is about. For whatever reason, people need to look at things in black and white, to label another person a villain and another, a hero. With that notion in mind, I always believed that it is better to be hated for what you are rather than loved for what you’re not.

I am Indian and part Palestinian Muslim, born in Mumbai, India and raised in Brooklyn, New York and recently moved to Las Vegas. My culture is very important to me. It gives me a sense of purpose and benefits me to define who I am, yet it has also causes me a great deal of tormented suffering and hardship. Being Muslim and Arabic, I am often faced with many different stereotypes, especially during this critical time in American history. I am constantly labeled as a terrorist, and an immigrant, as well as other ignorant slurs and propaganda. The portrayal of my people by the media only exacerbates the hatred I am faced with on a daily basis. When I g out in public, I am faced with the murderous stares in people’s eyes because of my Muslim attire. This is America- a free country! I should be free to wear what I want and practice my customary traditions. I still can never understand why a piece of material can cause so much hatred…

The reason why the world points their blame at all Muslims and accusing all of them as holding responsibility for 9/11 is because our president is a man of limited power who basically finds himself in a position of great power through no particular act of his own. The only way to hold on to power is to convince people that they ought to be afraid of something. But of course, he doesn’t think what he is doing is wrong because to a certain extent, he is swimming in those morally dangerous waters. ‘’The best way to bring folks together,’’ Bush says ominously, ‘’is to give them a really good enemy.’’ Besides, this world believes all sorts of things that aren’t true. We call it history. A man’s called a traitor or ruthless invader. A rich man’s a thief or philanthropist. Is one a crusader or ruthless invader? It’s all in which we label is able to persist.

Anyways, enough political rant. There really isn't alot to say about myself so...
